[America wakes up outside of town, surrounded by trees. She's extremely confused as to where she is, how she got there, what the hell she's wearing, and how a pair of light blue wings somehow got attached to her back. She notices a journal on the ground next to her, and picks it up. Flipping through the pages, it becomes clear this is no ordinary journal. She decides to try talking at it to see what happens.]

OK, whose journal is this, and where the fuck am I? More importantly, where are my clothes? I was kind of in the middle of kicking this pendejo's ass and I can't do that in some flimsy dress. Plus, it's fucking cold out here.

[Deciding that's good enough for now, she closes the journal and takes to the sky, trying to figure out where exactly she is. She spots a town in the distance and heads that way...]

[America's not the only flier in the village. Teddy's up in the air too, though it looks like the only thing that's shifted are his wings. He doesn't really feel like having to explain to people what a big green guy is doing in the air (although he doesn't seem to mind if they ask about his big green wings).

When he spots America, Teddy hovers in the air for a moment to watch. It's not every day that people can fly in Luceti, let alone people who've just arrived. Maybe he can help her out...]

[By this time America has discovered that her trick of kicking her way between dimensions doesn't work here, so she's flying around more urgently than before, looking for some kind of escape. When she spots Teddy, it's not exactly what she was looking for, but it's better than nothing. The fact that he's whole and healthy and not a chair is also good.]

Teddy! You're alright!

[... Wow, okay. She knows him, and he's sure as hell that he doesn't know her.

Teddy can guess a couple of reasons why that is. But for now, he stares at her with wide eyes, as if a teacher called on him to answer a question he doesn't know, before he relaxes his expression - a shift, to be exact.]

Yeah... I'm going to take a guess and say I'm not all right back where you know me?

No, you're... we were... [Does she tell him? It's obvious the timelines are screwy.] You haven't met me yet, have you?

[Yep. Screwy timelines. That was Teddy's first thought, and it makes him give a helpless, apologetic smile.]

If we're not counting right now, then no. Sorry, I know the timelines are weird here. So since you know me already, you're...?
