[America wakes up outside of town, surrounded by trees. She's extremely confused as to where she is, how she got there, what the hell she's wearing, and how a pair of light blue wings somehow got attached to her back. She notices a journal on the ground next to her, and picks it up. Flipping through the pages, it becomes clear this is no ordinary journal. She decides to try talking at it to see what happens.]

OK, whose journal is this, and where the fuck am I? More importantly, where are my clothes? I was kind of in the middle of kicking this pendejo's ass and I can't do that in some flimsy dress. Plus, it's fucking cold out here.

[Deciding that's good enough for now, she closes the journal and takes to the sky, trying to figure out where exactly she is. She spots a town in the distance and heads that way...]

Oh, geez. Uh. This is kind of awkward, but-

[Billy shifts on his feet, scuffing a hand through his hair. A flying super who knows him, but that he doesn't know? Talking about someone they're apparently fighting, but that he's never heard of? Kind of a given what that means.]

The timeline's all mixed up for the people who show up here- none of us really match up properly. You're… probably from my future, so I don't know who you are yet, sorry.

[God, it's like the situation with Tommy and Kate all over again, except with her comes the actual offerto explain things. Billy chews on his lower lip for a moment to consider his options, then finally shakes his head.]

Probably... should keep some stuff on the down-low. Any time it comes up, I keep getting this feeling that the future isn't going to be good. I'd rather wonder about it than know and start freaking out over something I can't change.

That's sort of how we met. Loki wanted me to kill you but I said hell no and decided to watch out for you instead. Then you accidentally magicked an inter-dimensional parasite who infected all the parents and I had to save your ass a few times.
